Looks just like Arin

They did my boy piggy dirty

Texturing is nice, kind of heavy on the subsurf around the back of the head but that with the diffuse breakup and skin bump/normal makes it look believable.
I like the choice of adding more breakup with hair gen
The sculpt itself is a little soft for a pig head, but if you were going for rubber mask you nailed it--
Getting ears right in sculpts is tough, you using blender? If you're using sculptris, zbrush, or mudbox I can't speak on the specifics of how to do it because I haven't touched most of those, (but the general idea still stands software-independent)

If you're using blender I'd suggest modeling the ears separately, mirroring them, convert to mesh, join them to the main model in object mode, then remeshing, that way you can get the sharp edge of a pointed ear without fighting with the grab brush to pull the form out of the rest of head.

Kud4m4 responds:

Wow! Thank u for the comment! Yeah I've made this one in blender and your adviсe is a big helping hand. Thanks again

INTENSE recursion, styles are on point af too. I like how the Sonic ones have him in the flying thing, shows attention to detail in a "how would he function in that universe" kind of way, beyond the palette choice/limitation, form, and resolution cos he's definitely the type to get spin-bonked eggman flying robot style.

1 feels right, but I love 3 and 8's readability. 8 could also have some cool story deviation but AH! THEY ALL SO GOOD

If you have found a favorite, there’s a strawpoll link in this art post where you can make your vote! I’m glad you liked them, and thank you!

Idk why it reminds me of gaiman but it does. I think it's the color choice and broad visible strokes--either way I love it

EDIT:1/24/2025

IN A GOOD WAY. In light of the new circumstances felt like clarifying lol

NOICE
Is the shading on the cat all baked in or a shader? I like the falloff and if you're getting those results with a supplementary shader you can definitely do some awesome paint-y stuff with it

Johngivitis responds:

All shading is painted on and the same goes for the other spinning objects and the grass. I think doing it that way gives it really cool look.
Here's another example of that:

I really like this a lot--form, proportions, perspective, detail, all on-point, but the value range doesn't really frame anything, and that gives me mixed emotions about it cos if the FG/MG/BG had more dynamism and were less washed out it would be conventionally perfect, but it also wouldn't give me the optical-illusion-esque heeby jeebies that makes me wanna keep looking at it.

I can't say for sure there's nothing in it, there's a lot unseen. Could be a small rodent living in there, you know?
The lighting's on point, the bounce-back lighting in particular's pushing a lot of physicality, real nice

Crics responds:

maybe there's something in it... curious and unknown...

Love the poppin' contrast and use of color in all your stuff, but this one scratches that itch rill hard
